DAUPHINETTE

SS23

For Dauphinette’s NYFW SS23 Presentation, “Fragile” I worked at the intersection of logistics and art direction to bringing the brand’s whimsical vision to life. My role spanned the full creative arc: from scouting unconventional locations that mirrored the collection to assisting in a model casting process that prioritized character and diversity. On-site I played a key role in stage design and execution, as well as lead a TikTok strategy based on interviews with notable attendees. By capturing authentic styling conversations with key guests, I produced content that achieved 1M+ views, showcasing the brand’s pieces to a new online audience.

APOPHENIAC

APOPHENIAC is an exploration of the psychological phenomenon "apophenia", the human instinct to find meaningful connections between unrelated stimuli. The collection focuses specifically on pareidolia, translating the visual illusion of faces found in inanimate objects into a tangible ready-to-wear narrative. From initial concept and garment construction to the creative direction of the editorial shoot, I designed this collection to challenge the viewer’s perception, putting emphasis on otherwise "meaningless" patterns into a study of human recognition and textile craft.

BUKI AKOMOLAFE

At the intersection of West African heritage and European tailoring, I currently direct the social narrative for Buki Akomolafe. My focus is on translating the brand’s commitment to sustainability, craft, and activism into engaging digital content, ranging from immersive carousels to short-form video. Through this along with newsletter storytelling/copywriting and the creation of strategic posting schedules, I help to build a cohesive brand voice that resonates with a global, conscious audience while supporting the label’s expansion into an international market.

WHAT IS I.T.?

ILLUMINAIIT

I led the digital design efforts for the What is I.T.? podcast and its parent startup, Illuminaiit. I translated complex tech concepts into a comprehensible visual language through UI/UX website design and a series of dynamic podcast episode cards. My work focused on creating a future-facing aesthetic that makes emerging technology accessible and visually compelling for a an audience unfamiliar with I.T.

Working with this Berlin accessory label, I directed the visual presentation of products for both e-commerce and social platforms. My focus was on elevating the brand’s minimalist aesthetic through precise product styling and photography. I managed the complete process from lighting and composition to retouching, ensuring a cohesive, elevated brand image.
